    • Our packages are shipped with USPS.
  9. How much hair do I need?
    • We recommend 2 bundles for lengths 10”-14”. We recommend 3 bundles for 16”-22”. We recommend 4 bundles for 24”-30”. We recommend 4-5 bundles for 32”-40”.
  10. Am I able to color my extensions?
    • Yes, both budget-friendly and luxury collections can be colored. We suggest you pair with a professional to achieve any color goals.
  11. How long will the extensions last me?
    • Our budget-friendly hair extensions last 9-12 months with proper and our Luxury Collection lasts up to 2 years with proper care.
  12. How long does a custom unit last?
    • Our custom units last between 1-2 years. We suggest following our maintenance guidelines for the best longevity.
  13. What is the current turnaround time for custom units?
    • Our current turnaround times are 7-15 business days for custom units.
  14. How do you recommend doing maintenance on my extensions?
    • We recommend washing straight and body wave hair biweekly. Meanwhile, any curly texture should be washed weekly. Please check out our “Hair Care Instructions” for further details.
  15. How should I maintain my extensions daily?
    • We recommend brushing the hair twice daily and keeping moisturized to avoid tangling. Please reference our “Hair Care Instructions” For further details.
  16. My stylist messed up my extensions and lace, is there anything you guys can do for me?
    • Sorry, we are not responsible for any stylist-related issues. We suggest you speak with your stylist and take further steps with them.
  17. Can my custom unit be made with a frontal?
    • No, currently we do not offer frontal custom units, only lace closure units.
  18. What is the difference between High Definition (HD) and Transparent Lace?
    • High Definition (HD) lace is very thin and easy to match with the skin tone. It is much thinner than transparent lace and has see-through features that blend easily with the skin. Transparent lace is more brittle in texture and has more of a white variant tone rather than see-through. HD has a more elevated price point than transparent but, they both can be melted similarly.
  19. What is the difference between Budget Friendly Hair and Luxury Bundles?
    • Our Budget Friendly Collection is a cheaper alternative to our Luxury Collection. Budget Friendly Hair has a different quality level and lasts less time than our Luxury Collection. However, they are both unprocessed human hair that can be dyed. Budget Friendly can be dyed to #27, lasts 9-12 months, and is ideal for baddies looking for hairstyles at inexpensive rates. Luxury can be dyed to 613, lasts up to 2 years, and is top quality.
  20. Can I mix Luxury Lace pieces with Budget Friendly hair?
    • Yes, we support this option.

  22. I would like a color that is not on the website, how can this be completed?
    • For custom colors you do not see on the website, please email our customer service email at yonniecakesstudio@gmail.com before purchasing to check eligibility.
  23. Are custom units Ready To Ship?
    • No, our custom units are made to order and require 7-15 business days excluding holidays to ship.
  24. I sent in my hair for a custom unit to be made, how long will it take?
    • Provide Your Own Hair Service requires 7-15 business days to complete. In a case where you will need the unit faster, please purchase our "Rush PYOH" Service which will be completed in 1 business day.
